  • Reducing Energy Consumption

    All lighting in our common areas and guest rooms is 100% LED. We optimise our IT equipment and adopt environmentally responsible digital practices.

  • Minimizing Waste Impact

    Our hotel has introduced a waste management system that focuses on sorting, recycling, and reducing waste. Additionally, we have provided our employees with training on how to properly implement the system.

    To reduce plastic usage, we have eliminated plastic materials from our public areas and guest rooms. Instead, we offer biodegradable straws and bamboo toothpicks at our Piano Mare Lounge Bar, and provide guests with water bottles made from tetrapak material at our Grand Beach Club.

  • Promoting Sustainable Mobility

    We provide our guests with city bikes, electric bikes from Unicorn Mobility and a CO2-neutral electric courtesy car, thus promoting sustainability and offering an eco-friendly experience during their stay.

    For hotel guests with 100% electric or hybrid cars, the Grand Hotel provides them with a charging station at the hotel's private car park. The hotel is therefore a member of the eV-Now programme and has obtained the 'Electric Friendly Certification'.

    At our restaurant, we strongly believe that the key to creating delicious dishes lies in using top-quality ingredients. That's why we have made it our mission to source all our produce from local farmers and suppliers who share our passion for high-quality food. We also make it a priority to use seasonal ingredients whenever possible, as this allows us to serve the freshest and most flavorful dishes to our customers.

    In addition, we are committed to using only organic and certified products in our kitchen. This ensures that our dishes are free from harmful chemicals and that we are doing our part to protect the environment.
