Taste and well-being: a slow Halloween in collaboration with the Agenzia di Pollenzo, where slow food was born
During the Autumn holidays, the Grand Hotel offers an exciting program with a gourmet dinner and the charming emotions of the night SPA.
On October 30th the Slow Food arrives in Alassio with a special event in collaboration with the Agency of Pollenzo. Liguria and Piedmont, like in the past, they exchanged together their products, fish and extra virgin olive oil, meat and wines.
These are just some of the products of the earth that unite these two realities, so close but also distant in their gastronomic culture.
During this dinner the Chef Giuseppe Barbero, called Gepis, with more than forty years spent in the kitchens of Boccondivino di Bra and in the Garden of the Hotel dell'Agenzia di Pollenzo, offers the classic dishes of Langa preserved in the recipes of his majesty, Maria Pagliasso.
Furthermore, on 31st October evening from 8 pm, the cozy rooms of our Thalassio SPA will turn into a wellness retreat perfect for the darkest night of the year.

Dinner: ‘’Langhe meets Liguria’’
Slow Food arrives in Alassio with an event in collaboration with the Agency of Pollenzo. Liguria and Piedmont meet. During this dinner the chef Giuseppe Barbero proposes the classic dishes of the Langa in a menu thought to four hands with our Executive Chef Roberto Balgisi.
MONDAY October 31st
Morning: Talassotherapy treatments
Starting the day with one of ours best wellness treatments.
Total body scrub 50'
Exfoliation based on seaweed and salt.

Flakes with a calcium-rich marine mud wrap and magnesium.
Evening: Aufguss’s benefit introduction and Spa Night Experience
Widely held as one of the best wellness sessions ever, the Aufguss ritual will be carried out in the sauna. Aufguss’ benefits at our Spa Night Experience can be experienced in either our Bio-sauna with aromatic herbs or the Finnish sauna, as the effects would be the same. A “Grand” sensation that will drive you until the end. Enjoy also an healthy aperitif on the Spa Terrace accompanied by sparkling wine. Afterwards, you will live a unique “sound bath experience” at the Thalasso pool (with Tibetan bells/ Celtic harp/ gong or hang).
