Wellness initiatives within the Grand Hotel

We are proud to create a sense of belonging, where everyone is welcomed and celebrated.

During the 2023 season, three important initiatives were born. They have guaranteed Talassio employees to communicate their experience within the company, but also the possibility to identify the colleague who is most distinguished for her/ his job.

Initiatives are: ‘’I’m going Beyond’’, ‘’Happiness Index’’ and ‘’Eureka!”

I’m going Beyond

A program created to recognize and reward good actions carried out by individual employees during their work. Recognizing a good action means noticing and acknowledging a kind, positive, and proactive behavior carried out by someone on the staff. The initiative ‘I’m Going Beyond’ aims to highlight acts of kindness, sensitivity, and empathy that are accomplished with the goal of helping a colleague or a guest; the winners will be chosen during the closing ceremony and will have the opportunity to win an exclusive vacation.

Happiness Index

This initiative was born with the aim of making sure that the workplace a positive experience for all employees. “Talassio Happiness Index” is an initiative open to all employees that are invited to respond to a short anonymous survey about the welfare and the state of emotional and professional satisfaction in the workplace. Thanks to the opinions and ideas received, the Talassio group is able to make significant improvements.

Eureka!

The term ‘EUREKA’ is derived from the legend of the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes who, according to the story, exclaimed ‘EUREKA!’ when he discovered the principle of inertia while immersing himself in a bathtub. In a broader sense, ‘EUREKA’ has become a way of expressing the feeling of having found something valuable or having obtained a solution that one was seeking. The Talassio group has created a space to collect new ideas and suggestions from all employees. All ideas and proposals are considered and analyzed from both a technical standpoint to evaluate its feasibility, and from a business standpoint to assess its alignment with company objectives. As with any idea and sharing moment, any form of judgment will be eliminated. So, what are you waiting for?
